Dear members,
We have a few more updates for December in the programme, and we have also added a few dates for the new year.
The immediate next event is the “Chrëschtpatt”, a Christmas drink at the museum in Diekirch on 9 December, on 20 December we have our last Noggin’ and Natter of the year.
The first Noggin’ and Natter of the new year will take place on 17 January, on 28 January we will meet for the New Year’s hike, and at the end of January we will have our annual general meeting at the CNVH in Diekirch.
Chrëschtpatt and book presentation at the CNVH Diekirch
On 9 December, the CNVH Diekirch invites our members to its traditional Christmas drink “Chrëschtpatt”.
We will be meeting in the museum from 3 pm, and the new book “Nicolas Koob” will also be presented on this day.
In it, Yan Kremer portrays the life of Luxembourg’s most famous motor racing driver.
We would be delighted to see you there!
Reminder: Noggin’ and Natter – 20 December 2023
We’ll meet at Relais Bausch in Brouch / Mersch, as usual from 7PM onwards.
In the last issue, we launched an appeal to visit the Retromobile in Paris and wanted to book a bus for all participants.
Unfortunately, the response was insufficient and we therefore decided not to organize a coach trip.
However, we have found an alternative travel offer from the company Vandivinit, so you can join other car fans. Further information can be found at

The coach trip from Frisange, Thionville or Metz takes place on 3 February and costs just €69 with an admission ticket. Anyone who wants to travel in comfort is therefore welcome to take advantage of this offer (as long as there are still places available). We are also considering travelling to the exhibition in our private cars. If you are interested, please contact us directly so that we can make arrangements.

In order to determine the number of participants and to facilitate the organisation, the organiser asks for a short feedback by e-mail if you would like to receive information about the event.

From 26 November, you will find all the information about the meeting on our website www.mgcarclub.lu.
You will also find the booking details and prices there.
The booking platform for the meeting is expected to go live on 30 November from 9 am. In order to give as many members as possible the chance to register (especially our friends who are more analogue and less online), we will also be sending out information by post with a classic registration form.
We would also like to remind you of our call for helpers: in order to make the event a success, we are looking for committed members, we are happy about every helping hand.
There are many ways you can contribute, here are just a few:
– Organising Committee: if you have organisational skills or would like to work on planning and running the event, then the Organising Committee is the place for you.
– Parking Attendants: On the days of the meeting we need hardworking parking attendants to ensure that all classic cars find a suitable space. This is a great way to actively participate in the meeting.
– Help on site: Many helpers are also needed during the event to assist with various tasks such as registration, catering or security.
No matter how much time you have available, all help is welcome. Together we can ensure that our classic car meeting is a memorable event.
