IMPORTANT : new date for our Annual General Meeting on 7 February instead of 31 January!
Dear member,
the board of the MG Car Club Luxembourg wishes you all the best for 2024, good health and lots of fun in this eventful year. In the second year of the anniversary celebrations, you still have time to visit our MG exhibition at the CNVH in Diekirch until the end of April. But then there is also the European Event of the Year, which will take place from 1 to 4 August.
The most important information in this e-mail is that we have had to postpone our Annual General Meeting by one week for organisational reasons. The new date is therefore 7 February, and we will still be meeting at the CNVH in Diekirch.
You are also welcome to register for the New Year’s hike on 28 January, see below, Marc Steinbach has again planned a nice route for us.
In February, we will meet up again with Ink and Ron for the traditional skittles.

If the number of voting members present is insufficient, an Extraordinary General Meeting will be convened for 07 February 2024 at 20:15. In any case, valid resolutions can be passed in accordance with our Articles of Association and the law on non-profit organisations. Agenda and location unchanged.
Members who wish to stand for a position on the Board of Directors (item 6 of the agenda) are hereby requested to submit their candidature in writing to the President Sonja Mailliet (mgsonia1970@gmail.com) no later than one week before the meeting.
We also ask you to register for the meeting by 28 January 2024 at the latest so that we can better plan the subsequent drink (mgsonia1970@gmail.com or by sms: 621 790 027)
Big Regalia sale
As mentioned above, we are selling a large part of our Regalia at unbeatable prices before and after our Annual General Meeting. Come and get it!
Unfortunately, our invitation to the classic car clubs in Luxembourg was not as well received as we had hoped. Only 3 clubs responded at all, so unfortunately we had to cancel the event.
In the last issue, we launched an appeal to visit the Retromobile in Paris and wanted to book a bus for all participants.
Unfortunately, the response was insufficient and we therefore decided not to organize a coach trip.
However, we have found an alternative travel offer from the company Vandivinit, so you can join other car fans. Further information can be found at

The coach trip from Frisange, Thionville or Metz takes place on 3 February and costs just €69 with an admission ticket. Anyone who wants to travel in comfort is therefore welcome to take advantage of this offer (as long as there are still places available). NEW YEARS WALK
on 28 January 2024 in Mamer
Marc Steinbach invites you to the New Year’s hike to Mamer again this year. We start at 3 pm and hike about 8 kilometres / 2 hours.
The meeting point is the car park called “Op der Drëps”, 20 rue du Baerendall in L – 8212 Mamer. Access to the car park is only possible in one direction, along the restaurant Thillsmillen, until you reach the barbecue area.
At the end of the tour you will need a cup, don’t forget!
After our hike, we will have lunch at the Dal Nigro restaurant, 15 route d’Arlon in Steinfort.
